About the Author
Jonathan Alexander Green, the debut author of ‘Book of Stars’, is a living testament to the power of perseverance. His journey as a neuro-diverse author is not just a story, but an inspiration for all.
A decade ago, Jonathan was inspired to write the Book during a challenging period in his life. Films like The Bourne Identity, Independence Day, Battle Los Angeles, Battleship, Star Wars, and Blade Runner Original sparked his creativity. His mother’s gift of a laptop, a symbol of her encouragement, was the catalyst that set his imagination in motion. Despite life’s obstacles, Jonathan’s unwavering determination has brought the book to fruition, ready for everyone to enjoy.

Inspiration & Influences
Jonathan, a British and German national, finds inspiration in the diversity of his heritage. His heart is divided between Berlin and Coventry, and he currently resides in north Warwickshire.
His literary influences are as varied as his background, drawing inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock, Stephen King, JRR Tolkien, Roald Dahl, Enid Blyton, C.S Lewis, and Kenneth Grahame. His poetry, born from his struggles with depression, is a powerful tool for self-expression and, he hopes, for others. He shares his life with a rescue Boxer dog named ‘Hugo’. Jonathan’s love for Boxers is undeniable, and he occasionally shares pictures of his beloved Hugo, whom he adopted through a Boxer rescue charity.
When Jonathan is not busy bringing his creative world of poems and stories to life, he surveys trees, cheers on Hertha Berlin and Coventry City, and pumps iron in the gym. He also relaxes with a pint of beer and his dog, preferably in an old English pub.
His faith is important to him; he regularly attends the local Anglican church. His faith often inspires his poetry, infusing his work with themes of hope, redemption, and the human spirit.
